Neha Sharma Katyal has been appointed as General Manager – Business Development, Agency at The Trade Desk, She shared this news via LinkedIn.
Katyal joins The Trade Desk after a successful six-year tenure at Disney+ Hotstar (now JioStar), where she served as Director of Agency Sales. During her time there, she was instrumental in building strategic partnerships and contributing to the platform’s rapid media growth. In her LinkedIn post, she also expressed gratitude to Ajit Varghese, Chief Revenue Officer at JioStar, for his mentorship and support.
Before her stint at JioStar, Katyal held the role of Director of Sales at Spotify, where she was responsible for expanding and shaping the company’s advertising business in India, leading key verticals and strategic initiatives. She also served as Business Head at Twitter India (now X), where she oversaw regional revenue and drove business strategy across the country.
Katyal’s career spans key leadership positions at some of the most prominent names in media, including Disney Star, BBC Worldwide, and Network18 Media & Investments.
