National Stock Exchange Tweets Hot Pics Of Mouni Roy & Deletes Later After Getting Trolled

| Published on January 16, 2021

Twitter is undoubtedly the best platform for brands to announce something. But sometimes, mistakes on Twitter cost big as netizens tend to troll any small issue within minutes. With online users getting so active on social media, handling online accounts and posts have become an important task for all sort of brands.

What’s making us write all this is a funny incident that happened recently with India’s National Stock Exchange (NSE). NSE, which was set up in 1992 is the first dematerialized electronic exchange of the country. NSE has an official Twitter handle which it uses for sharing important info and updates about the share market. However, during the last weekend, some bold photos of popular Indian actress Mouni Roy were shared by the official Twitter handle with caption reading “Soaring Saturday temperature high… @RoyMouni looks breathtaking.”

The tweet has been deleted now, below you can see the screenshot:

After realizing the mistake, the tweet was deleted by the NSE staff with an explanation in which it was made clear that the mistake happened due to human error and not because of hacking. NSE even apologized for the inconvenience caused.

Here is what NSE tweeted, “Today there was an unwanted post on NSE handle at 12:25 p.m. It was a human error made by the agency handling NSE account and there was no hacking. Our sincere apologies to our followers for the inconvenience caused.”

However, memers didn’t miss the chance to show their humor over this incident and they came up with really hilarious tweets some of them trolling NSE.
