Ashish Bajaj has exited Narayana Health, bringing to a close his tenure as Group Chief Marketing Officer, a role he had held since July 2022. Based in Bengaluru, Bajaj was responsible for leading strategic marketing management and overseeing organisation-wide marketing leadership initiatives at the healthcare group.
He confirmed this move to Marketing Mind.
Prior to joining Narayana Health, Bajaj served as Head of Marketing at MediBuddy from June 2019 to June 2022, where he led brand and marketing initiatives across the digital healthcare platform. During this period, he worked on multiple large-scale consumer campaigns and partnerships, contributing to brand visibility and engagement in the healthcare space.
Before MediBuddy, Bajaj was associated with DocsApp from July 2019 to February 2020 as Head of Marketing. At DocsApp, he led the platform’s first integrated marketing campaign, #BaatTohKaro, focused on encouraging conversations around taboo health issues. The campaign received industry recognition and was awarded Best Marketing Campaign in the health category at ABP Healthcare and the National Health Summit. He also worked on performance-led growth initiatives and new digital acquisition channels during this phase.
Bajaj earlier spent over three years at Ola between April 2016 and August 2019 as Head of Media and Brand Alliance. In this role, he handled budget planning, media strategy and execution across ATL and BTL channels, worked on demand generation and supplier marketing, managed category PnL responsibilities, and supported international market launches including the UK and Australia.
Prior to Ola, Bajaj was associated with Microsoft from March 2015 to April 2016 as Channel and Partner Marketing Manager, where he worked on integrated digital marketing strategies, media planning, budgeting, reporting and demand generation programmes aligned with partner and alliance audiences.
He began his core professional career at GroupM, where he worked from June 2011 to March 2015 as Business Manager, handling media investment responsibilities and contributing to strategic media planning and execution. During this period, he was also part of the Maxus Gurgaon team that won the AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Media Competition in 2012.
