Nachiket Pantvaidya Joins Sony Pictures International Productions, India As General Manager

Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced the appointment of Nachiket Pantvaidya as the General Manager of Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP), India. In addition to this role, Pantvaidya continues to serve as the Chief Executive Officer at Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures India. In his new role, he will oversee local Indian production.

Nachiket Pantvaidya Joins Sony Pictures International Productions, India As General Manager

Sony Pictures Entertainment has appointed Nachiket Pantvaidya to General Manager of Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP), India. He also serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures India.

In this role, Pantvaidya will oversee local Indian production while working alongside Shony Panjikaran (General Manager and Head of Sony Pictures Releasing International, India). He will continue to perform his duties as CEO, Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures in parallel.

Previously, he served as Group COO and CEO of ALT Balaji at Balaji Telefilms from November 2015 to May 2021. In August 2021, he was promoted to Group CEO of the company, a position he held until May 2022.

During his previous tenure at Sony Pictures Entertainment, he served as Senior Executive Vice President of Sony Entertainment Television from October 2013 to October 2015.

Before that, he served as EVP – Star Plus and Star Utsav, Star Pravah at Star TV Network from August 2010 to October 2013. In the past, he was also associated with Fox Corporation, Disney and BBC.
