Continuing its investment in educational resources for creators since 2019, Meta has now come up with an educational resource in India which is designed specifically for creators, by creators to provide support to young people who are interested in content creation.
Announcing the launch of the same in a blogpost, the tech major, emphasised that the creator education and enablement program- ‘Born on Instagram’ which facilitates creator education at scale consists of a community of creators, engaged to learn about content creation and unlock partnership and monetisation opportunities.
To update the educational content on ‘Born on Instagram’, it also mentioned that it has launched Creator Lab for aspiring creators.
Creator Lab will contain content from creators, who share their experiences and insights, including what they wish they had known when they started and what they have learned through trial and error, the tech major clarified.
Featuring 14 content creators like Aabir Vyas, Govind Kaushal, Meethika Dwivedi, Raghav Sachhar, and The Vixens Crew amongst others, in the content on Creator Lab, Meta mentioned that the platform represents diverse geographies, genres, and growth journeys.
The creators will share takeaways around three themes that are essential to achieving sustained success:
1. Expressing yourself: how to use Instagram’s new tools and features to help express yourself creatively.
2. Building community: how to create meaningful connections and build a loyal following.
3. Growing long-term: how to play the long game, monetise your content and set yourself up for a sustainable career.
The content is available in English and Hindi, depending on the comfort of the creators who are part of the videos. Going forward, more content will be added to the platform, and the content will also be captioned in six Indian languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, and Hindi.
