We got a chance to interview- Sadhique Aboobacker, Kerala’s most popular blogger. Let’s hear out his journey in his own words.

How you entered this industry?

Since childhood, I was very crazy about photography since childhood. I used to take pictures on mobile cam, my first couple of photographs came from Nokia 5500 slide. While doing this, I started feeling a thing for ‘Fashion’.

I started all alone but soon my friends saw my potential and helped me.
I joined Instagram in 2010, I guess, this has become important part of my life now. I feel inspired working as a blogger. Also it gives me a chance to inspire others to do well.

What made you choose this industry?

If you don’t know, Daniel Wellington brand was my first brand collaboration and after that I used to send collaboration requests to brands and they were ready to send products, I was happy actually felt like wow for free products.

But after some time, I got to know about the potential to get paid promotions. So, made a team for creating content and started charging brands to pay my team.

This made me choose Blogging as a career.

Share some Digital Marketing lessons you learned through your experience.

We should value your followers. We should treat them like a family and provide them the best content. Because they trust you, it becomes your responsibility to always d paid promotions carefully as they may end up in buying the products you are recommending.

It is my personal choice, but I totally avoid Alcohol promotions. In short, my advice to all is to focus on your feed and not much on making money as it will eventually follow.

What are some difficulties that you face as a digital influencer?

The main challenge I face is that some times brands want all the stuff quickly and in the process they don’t clarify what they actually need from me. Some of them even ask me to do changes at the last minute which is no that easy.

Some brands only like to show their products but this hurts my creativity as I like to mixed up fashion in my own way which is not easy in branded posts.

Who are your favourite Digital Influencers?

When I started, I didn’t even know the name of single blogger and I don’t have any competitor or I don’t find any inspiration from anyone. Still, get inspired by the creativity of brand pages and how they market their stuff on social media.

Some tips for upcoming people who are looking to join this industry?

Study your followers, build a community. Now there are many good creators for inspiration. No matter the number of followers and likes, focus on creating quality posts.

In case of brands, Start from barter, Slowly you can make your mark in this Digital world.

What are your future plans?

As I made my name in the Digital world, now I am looking to add more things to this. I have actually 2 plans ( wishes ) 1st is like to become a well-known model. And the 2nd is to start my own clothing brand. Film industry is also my wish.
People show loves through likes and comments, so I guess they’ll keep show loves my brand too.
