Interbrand has released its list of best global brands for the year 2018 based on the estimated brand evaluation.
Most of the brands are from 5 sectors- Automotive (16), Technology (13), Financial Services (12), Luxury (9), and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (9). Luxury is the most growing segment replacing Retail industry.
“A decade after the global financial crisis, the brands that are growing fastest are those that intuitively understand their customers and make brave iconic moves that delight and deliver in new ways,”
said Charles Trevail, Global Chief Executive Officer of Interbrand.
Spotify (USD $5,176m) and Subaru at (USD $4,214m) are the 2 names that have featured in the list for the first time. Amazon, Adobe and Louis Vitton are among the top growing brands. After 5 years as the top growing brand, Facebook has declined six percent. Below you can check the top 10 brands in this list with their valuation:
