While we may come across many social media influencers who have some effect on how people behave, there are some on whose single tweet or post a brand can be made or pulled down entirely.
The Kardashian-Jenners, Elon Musk, and many more have been using their social media handles to bring about that change.
A while back, Kylie Jenner tweeted how she no longer used Snapchat. This saw a huge decline in the users of the instant messaging app.
The Kardashian-Jenner family may not be fully aware of the stronghold they have on their followers and how they have the power to make things better or worse for a brand.
Recently, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner have taken up on social media to address yet another inconvenience they are facing.
The sisters have recently urged Instagram to ‘stop mimicking rival TikTok’. In an Instagram post, Jenner and Kardashian shared a message that read, “Make Instagram Instagram Again.”
“Strop trying to be tiktok I just want to see cute photos of my friends,” the post further said.
Meta Platforms Inc. has been making changes to Facebook and Instagram to look more like TikTok. They have been prioritizing short-form videos and an algorithm that suggests content to users that they aren’t already following.
Many people have expressed their discontent about the changes and said that they want to see the posts they have signed up for, not random entertainment.
Instagram has not made any official comments on the matter but it will be interesting to see if they take their opinion in consideration.
