Former Unilever VP Krishnan Sundaram Joins Vini Cosmetics As Chief Executive Officer

After serving a more than two-decade long stint at Unilever and helping startup consumer brands grow and scale for the last eight months, Krishnan Sundaram has now joined Vini Cosmetics, the parent company of FOGG and Whitetone amongst others, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

After being associated with Unilever for over two decades, starting May 2000, and helping accelerate growth and scale for startup consumer brands for the last eight months, Krishnan Sundaram has now joined the parent company of FOGG, Whitetone and more- Vini Cosmetics as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He took to LinkedIn to announce the same.

Prior to parting ways with Unilever in December 2023, he served the role of Vice President and Business Head- Nutrition for the last five years he spent in the company wherein he was both- Business and Integration Lead for Unilever’s acquisition of GSK Nutrition portfolio (Horlicks).

From June 2017 to January 2019, he was associated with the FMCG major as VP- Global Marketing Transformation and Capability (South Asia) and was responsible for driving change management and capability building across marketing at the company.

For a period of two-and-a-half years, starting December 2014, Sundaram worked as Vice President, Marketing Transformation- South Asia at Unilever and was partnering the leadership of South Asia to deliver business results across Unilever (5 countries and 4 categories of Home Care, Personal Care, Foods and Refreshments) by leveraging global category plans and programs to suit local market requirements.

He had joined Unilever in May 2000 as a Business Leadership Trainee and was elevated to the role of Sales and Customer Manager in May 2001. For a period of more than two years, between February 2004 and December 2006, he worked as a Senior Brand Manager for the company and assumed the role of Marketing Manager- Coffee in January 2007.

In his role as Marketing Manager- Coffee, he was responsible for heading business for Bru with responsibility across all marketing pillars, including brand equity, innovation, P&L management, and consumer engagement.

After this, he was elevated to the role of Marketing Manager- Premium Laundry in January 2010 and General Manager- Beverages in April 2012.
