Jay Morzaria, Former Rephrase.Ai Exec, Joins McCann Worldgroup Indonesia As Creative Head

After being associated with Rephrase.AI as Head of Creative for a period of eight months before the company was acquired by Adobe, Jay Morzaria has now joined McCann Worldgroup Indonesia as Creative Head.

Jay Morzaria, former Head of Creative at Rephrase.Ai, has now joined McCann Worldgroup Indonesia in the capacity of Creative Head.

He had been associated with Rephrase.Ai for a period of eight months and had called it quits when the company was acquired by Adobe in November 2023.

Prior to joining Rephrase.Ai in May 2023, Morzaria was working as an independent Creative Consultant with various agencies and brands, founders and managers, teams and individuals including Owled, Isobar, Digitas, WeKreate, Waterfield Advisors, L&T Financial Services, SKORE condoms and Oreo amongst others from January 2020 to November 2023.

Before that, he served the role of Creative Director at OktoBuzz from August 2022 to May 2023, Creative Associate at Spring Marketing Capital from February 2022 to August 2022, Group Creative Head at Schbang from December 2020 to January 2022 and Creative Partner at ^atom Network from April 2020 to November 2020.

In the past, he also worked with agencies such as The Glitch, Wavemaker, Tonic Worldwide, webmaffia, Razorblade Films, Ogilvy & Mather and Bright Outdoor Media.

Sharing his experience on making the move from India to Indonesia, Jay Morzaria, Creative Head, McCann Worldgroup Indonesia, said, “For over a decade, I had been working in a rich and diverse market like India. I am thankful that life has now presented me with an opportunity to work in yet another rich and diverse market like Indonesia in SEA.”

“As a creative leader, my effort would be to try and contribute to the great legacy that McCann has built all over the world,” he added.
