Keo Karpin is manufactured by Dey’s Medical Stores (Manufacturing) Ltd. (incorporated in 1957, also popularly referred to as Dey’s). It was originally one of the entrepreneurial ventures that answered the call for indigenously manufactured products and were born out of swadeshi zeal combined with native intelligence in the 1940s in Kolkata.
Boroline
Boroline, an antiseptic perfumed cream, was launched in 1929 in Kolkata by Gourmohan Dutta, a Bengali merchant. Over the years, the brand’s popularity soared, and it became an icon of national economic self-sufficiency in a nation that was still under British rule.
Saregama
Saregama India Ltd. is India’s oldest music label owned by RP Sanjiv Goenka Group of companies. The company sells its Britannia and Tiger brands of biscuits, bread and dairy products throughout India and in more than 60 countries across the world.
ITC LTD
ITC Limited is an Indian multinational conglomerate company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Company was incorporated on August 24, 1910, under the name Imperial Tobacco Company of India Limited. As the Company’s ownership progressively Indianised, the name of the Company was changed to India Tobacco Company Limited in 1970 and then to I.T.C. Limited in 1974.
KC Das Rossogolla
K.C. Das Grandson Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian confectionery famous for its sweets and snacks. The company was founded in 1956 in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is especially known for the white spongy form of rossogolla in Bengal, invented by the founder’s ancestor, Nobin Chandra Das.
Kalyani Beer
