Innocean India has announced the appointment of Jijo Thomas as Vice President- Media. In his new role, Thomas has been responsible for leading integrated media strategy, driving AI-powered delivery and measurement, and scaling the hyperlocal marketing playbook for Kia India.
Prior to this, Thomas has built a diverse career across leading brands and agencies. At Swiggy, he served as General Manager- Media Marketing from June 2023 to November 2024. Before that, he was Senior Media Marketing Manager at Swiggy from June 2021 to May 2023. Earlier, he has spent over four years at Essence, where he has held dual roles as Associate Business Director from October 2018 to June 2021, and Business Group Manager from May 2017 to October 2018.
His earlier stints include working with Initiative as Supervisor – Media Planning between September 2014 and April 2017, handling media duties for Wipro and Muthoot Pappachan Group, and a short role as Group Manager at IPG Mediabrands in January 2017.
Prior to that, he has been Business Manager at GroupM from January 2013 to August 2014, managing media for Britannia Industries, and Media Executive at Vivaki/Starcom Mediavest from June 2011 to January 2013, where he has overseen strategy and planning for SABMiller, Essilor International, Celkon Mobiles, and Pearson Education Services.
