India’s long-standing association with the prestigious Cannes Film Festival goes all the way back to 2002 when Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan gave us an iconic red carpet moment.
As the glitz and glamour of the Cannes Film Festival unfolded later on, the event saw a significant representation from the Hindi film industry as renowned actors like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonam Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone also graced the red carpet.
Cut to 2023 Cannes Film Festival, it witnessed a host of influencers and content creators like Ranveer Allahbadia, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Masoom Minawala, and others stealing the limelight. Even this year, the trend continues as a fresh wave of Indian influencers stepped onto the iconic Cannes red carpet.
The 77th Cannes Film Festival kick started from May 14 and will continue until May 25 on the iconic French Riviera.
