Brands these days have become very aggressive in marketing and they are employing new ideas to get the attention of customers. Apple customers are known for their loyalty towards the brand as they believe in buying Apple products knowing the fact that other companies sell similar items at much lower prices.
Huawei Singapore staff were seen giving free power banks to the crowd looking to buy Apple iPhones yesterday with a message reading “Here’s a power bank. You’ll need it. Courtesy of Huawei.” on the box. Interestingly, the move comes after a Facebook post suggesting the P20 Pro has a “looong-lasting battery.”
This is not the first time when Apple has got criticism from its competitors. Both Samsung and Huawei are known for making fun of Apple iPhones from time to time in their ads. Huawei has just surpassed Apple to become the world’s 2nd-biggest phone seller in July. On Apple’s Sept. 12 event that revealed its new iPhones, Huawei CEO Richard Yu posted on his Weibo page: “No problem now, see you in London on Oct. 16!”
