As more and more people are getting engulfed in the Internet of things, it surely is a time for a brand like GoDaddy to reach out its potential customers in all segments of society.
The way technology is advancing day by day, its imperative for even smaller businesses to be present online and GoDaddy saw this as an opportunity and began their India operations in 2012 and launched their ‘business hosting’ platform. Since then, GoDaddy has only walked an upward path and reached the one million mark earlier this year.
To further penetrate and reach out to consumers, GoDaddy has launched these new TVCs titled ‘Bijness Bhai’ with a special focus on small businesses in tier 2 and 3 cities of India.
“According to a Google-KPMG study, 68 percent of the 51 million Indian SMBs are offline and digitally engaged SMBs grow twice as fast compared to offline SMBs. This presents a huge opportunity for us and we are committed to delivering the power of our differentiated products, combined with customer care, to help people get started and on their journey,” says Nikhil Arora, managing director and vice president, GoDaddy India.
The TVC has been launched in 7 languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu in order to spread the message across the country and in people’s preferred languages.
The ads have been launched all across GoDaddy’s social media platforms and on TV as well.
The TVCs feature Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a very rustic and desi avatar.
Over the past two years, the public cloud services market in India has seen phenomenal growth – reaching $1.8 billion in 2017, up from $1.3 billion in 2016, according to recent Gartner reports. By 2020, this figure is expected to reach $4.1 billion.
