Dentsu Creative Webchutney has promoted Gia Fernandes, who has been associated with the network agency for over two years now, to the role of National Creative Director-West.
She took to LinkedIn to announce the same.
Fernandes had joined the company as Group Creative Director in May 2022 and was promoted to the position of Executive Creative Director in January 2023.
Prior to joining Dentsu Creative Webchutney, the newly reimagined creative vertical of Dentsu Creative India, she was associated with VMLY&R for about a year in the role of Creative Director.
Before that she was working with FCB Ulka for over three years, starting July 2018. During her stint with the agency, she first served as Creative Group Head for a year’s time, starting July 2018, and was promoted to the role of Associate Creative Director in July 2019, a position she held for nearly two years. In April 2021, she was elevated to the role of Creative Director at the agency.
Earlier on, Fernandes was also associated with Whyness Worldwide as Group Head of Design and UI/UX for a period of more than three years, starting December 2013.
Between May 2010 and November 2013, she worked with Contract Advertising India as Senior Graphic Designer, where she was responsible for providing branding and package design solutions to brands like Cadbury Celebrations, Eclairs and Rich Brownie, Vaango, Creambell, Daima, Fresh Dairy, Sahara Q Shop, Piramal, Crompton, Jaypee, Tata Photon, Ashok Leyland, Jockey, etc.
