FITPASS has appointed Avnish Sharma as Vice President (VP) of Network Growth and Monetisation. His role will be pivotal for growth, driving profitability and optimising revenue streams across the network of gyms and fitness centres in both new and established markets.
Sharma is a veteran with an extensive experience at tech giants like- Paytm and Practo. As per the company, he will be instrumental in FITPASS‘ rapid expansion into tier 2 and tier 3 cities.
The company is embarking on a growth strategy and has therefore made expansion of its leadership and operations teams, with plans to penetrate the aggregation and standardisation of gyms and fitness centres to reach 500 cities across India by mid-2026.
This strategic hiring spree is driven by the company’s commitment to strengthening its core verticals- network expansion, monetisation, sales, and category growth- in response to the rising demand for accessible, affordable, convenient and innovative fitness solutions, the company stated. By capitalising on this trend, FITPASS aims to reshape the fitness landscape across India.
In addition to the above appointment, Preeti Singh will step in as AVP of Growth and Alliance (Corporate Sales). She will report to Mohit Dang, Vice President of Revenue and Partnerships (Corporate Sales). Additionally, Manish Prajapati has been appointed as AVP of Network Growth and Monetisation. He will work closely with Sharma to drive the brand’s network growth and expansion.
Rishabh Tiwari has been appointed as Senior Manager of Network Growth and Monetisation and Savneet Kaur has joined as Senior Sales Manager (Corporate Sales). Moreover, Yusuf Ahmed will take on the role of Category Manager.
As per the company, this expanded team will aim to grow the company’s premium gym and fitness centre network to over 10,000 locations by the end of 2025 while broadening the company’s footprint across 1,500-1,600 PIN codes.
