One of India’s most loved industrialists and philanthropists, Anand Mahindra is the grandson of Jagdish Chandra Mahindra, who was the co-founder of Mahindra & Mahindra.
For his first job, Anand joined Mahindra Ugine Steel Company Ltd (MUSCO) as an Executive Assistant to the Finance Director in 1981 from where he just moved upwards.

In 1978, Gautam Adani moved to Mumbai to work as a diamond sorter for Mahendra Brothers when he was just a teenager. He worked there for 2-3 years before establishing his own diamond brokerage firm.
Elon Musk
Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla was born in South Africa. He later came to Canada in 1989 when he was just a teenager. He came to the country in search of his great-uncle but was unable to locate him. He then traveled west to Saskatchewan where his second cousin lived. There he worked odd jobs at a farm and lumber mill as a teenager but later went on to pursue his education further.

Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft Corporation, worked as a computer programmer for TRW during his senior year in high school when he was just 15 years old.
Jeff Bezos
Jeff Bezos is the founder and CEO of the multinational technology company Amazon. In 1986, right after graduating, he was offered jobs in various tech companies like Intel, Bell Labs, and Andersen Consulting. He first worked at Fitel which was a fintech telecommunications start-up, where he was tasked with building a network for international trade.
Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban is an American entrepreneur who is the owner of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team of the NBA, co-owner of 2929 Entertainment, chairman of AXS TV, and an investor on the reality television series Shark Tank.
