FCB India, part of the FCB Group agencies in India, has appointed Ashima Mehra, who had been associated with Leo Burnett India for more than four years, as its new Chief Executive Officer.
This is her second stint with FCB Group India as she’d earlier been associated with FCB Ulka.
In her new role, Mehra will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s operations, driving business growth, nurturing client relationships, and fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
Prior to joining FCB India, she served as the Executive Director of Leo Burnett India for close to one year. She joined the creative agency as SVP in January 2020 and was elevated to the role of EVP in July 2021, before she assumed the role of Executive Director in July 2023.
Before that, she was associated with Enormous as AVP for a period of more than one year, starting January 2019.
She also served as Senior Brand Manager at Reckitt for a year, starting January 2018. She joined Reckitt as Brand Manager in July 2016.
From October 2014 to June 2016, Mehra was associated with Havas as Client Service Director, with Godfrey Phillips India as Senior Brand Manager from May 2014 to October 2014, with JWT as Account Director from September 2013 to May 2014 and with FCB Ulka as Account Supervisor from November 2009 to September 2013.
In the past, she also worked with Ogilvy & Mather and Euro RSCG India.
