Eveready has elevated Anirban Banerjee as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company effective May 10, 2025.
Currently, Banerjee is serving as Senior Vice President and SBU Head (Batteries, Flashlights and Lighting).
Banerjee brings over 25 years of leadership experience in business management, marketing, and innovation across FMCG, Consumer Durables and Retail sectors, both in domestic and international markets. He is currently spearheading transformation initiatives for India’s leading battery and flashlight brand.
Previously, Banerjee held key roles at the Godrej Group, including Head of Marketing and Ecommerce at Godrej Indonesia and Global Head of Innovation at Godrej Consumer Products, where he led new product pipelines and international business growth. He has also contributed to the brand and business transformation at Nature’s Basket Retail, Reliance Infocomm, and AB Electrolux.
