Last year, on the launch of the Amazon Prime Day sale, the site happened to crash for a while, due to huge traffic on the website, because of the sale. But this time, Amazon claims things to be different. It is offering almost everything at a discounted price, with other offers and deals, on its platform. And it does not come with the glitches, which were there last year.
What if Amazon Crashes?
As one knows, in India, there are promises made, but seldom fulfilled. So, what will happen if the site crashes again this year? What is Amazon planning to do? The answer is, ‘Nothing’!
Yes, Amazon has nothing planned as its backup, because it believes that the Amazon Prime Day sale, which will start on July 15, will have no glitches. But, what if, in the worst case scenario it does have glitches?
The Crash Sale
This is where another e-commerce major, eBay comes in the picture. eBay has announced a sale of its own, called the ‘Crash Sale’. It will start on the same day as the Amazon Prime Day sale, i.e. July 15.
The Piggy Ride
Although eBay mentions that it is not taking a dig on Amazon, it is evident that the e-commerce major is planning to explode on the customers with full gusto, with deals, piggy riding the glitches of Amazon.
The e-commerce major mentions that if Amazon crashes, it will also offer a fresh batch of too-good-to-be-true deals that will excite the customers around the world.
Can’t-Miss Deals
Along with that, eBay is offering a whole month of fantastic deals, rather than just 48 hours, what Amazon does. The company thinks that rather than limiting the fun of exciting deals for just two days, it should allow the shoppers to have the fun for whole three weeks, excluding the day of crash sale- on 15th July.
Everything in your platter!
The deals which are to be offered by eBay are more than just exciting. Shoppers will find almost everything- from top electronics and home items to latest fashion, sporting goods, etc. – on discounted prices, waving over 50 percent of the amount.
The offers on deals will start from 1st July, and from 8th July, there is something called ‘Hot Deals for Hot Days’, which will consist of new deals launching every day, offering a chance to save big amounts of the hottest tech, smart home devices, home appliances, and many others, waving up to 80 percent of the amount as discount.
