Swiggy Dineout has onboarded Dhruvish Thakkar as Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Revenue and Growth.
Swiggy had entered into a definitive agreement with Times Internet to acquire Dineout, a dining-out and restaurant tech platform, in 2022. Previously, Thakkar was associated with Flipkart as Senior Director, Head of Marketing and Revenue- Flipkart Epharma from May 2022 to August 2024.
Before this, he served as Director- Revenue and Growth at Myntra from February 2020 to May 2022. In this role, he spearheaded the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution for all functions within the growth organisation at the brand. This included storefront merchandising, traffic and user growth, sale events, and fashion experience charters.
Earlier, in his previous stint with Flipkart, he served in different capacities for over five years. He joined the brand as Senior Manager- Category Marketing- Fashion in August 2014. He was elevated to Senior Manager- Head of Growth- Sales Events in January 2017. Finally, he served as Associate Director- Head of Sale Events, Gaming, and Social Commerce from July 2018 to January 2020.
Prior to this, he was Manager- Marketing and Sales at Whirlpool from June 2012 to July 2014.
In the past, Thakkar served as Brand and Advertising Consultant at Xebec Communications from August 2008 to April 2009. In this role, he was responsible for designing brand strategies and creative campaigns for clients, managing internal and external events for clients, and executing on-site and off-site research and surveys, among other things.
