Agentic AI is fast becoming the new operating system for marketing. Unlike traditional AI, which offers intelligence to assist human teams, Agentic AI systems are autonomous designed to run campaigns, optimize performance, and make decisions in real time, all without human intervention. Netcore Cloud’s State of MarTech 2025 report outlines how this shift is playing out across categories and markets, offering perhaps the clearest picture yet of what marketing will look like in the next decade.
The report is based on an analysis of over 1,000 top-performing campaigns from global and Indian brands, and the numbers are already compelling. Early adopters of Agentic AI have achieved 2X conversions, with brands experimenting with predictive segmentation, affinity-based content, and decision intelligence reporting up to 23% higher campaign performance — a number expected to reach 30–35% by the end of the year.
In the Banking, Financial and Insurance sector, Agentic AI is powering journey orchestration for high-consideration products like loans, credit cards, insurance, and investments. Banks and financial players are using intelligent agents to track behavioural intent across channels deploying dynamic nudges, enabling real-time lead scoring, and activating personalized offers precisely when consumers are most likely to convert. The human decision-maker has been replaced with systems that optimize journeys based on micro-signals: which users are stalling, what offers resonate, and how to improve conversion without manual inputs.
For e-commerce and retail brands, Agentic AI has unlocked new sophistication in personalisation and offer delivery. It’s not just about what a user has browsed or purchased, it’s about layering that with contextual signals like time of day, preferred channel, inventory status, and price elasticity. The result is a marketing engine that tweaks messaging and offers live turning cart abandonments into recoveries through WhatsApp nudges, email journeys, and push notifications triggered in response to real-time friction. Discounts can now be dynamically adjusted; product recommendations are constantly refined.
Travel and hospitality brands are among the fastest adopters, leveraging Agentic AI to reshape how consumers plan and experience trips. The report highlights how these brands are deploying intelligent agents to serve itinerary-based suggestions, upsell relevant services like seat upgrades or add-on experiences, and follow through post-trip with retention campaigns. From browsing to booking, every stage is personalised on the fly no longer based on static segments but evolving real-time preferences.
To decode these shifts, Netcore’s report also introduces two proprietary frameworks. The first, C.R.A.V.E., maps the core demands of modern consumers: Convenience, Rewards, AI-driven assistance, Video content, and Eco-consciousness. The second, A.D.A.P.T., is a strategic blueprint for marketers: Activate data, Decode intent, Autonomize journeys, Predict outcomes, and Target intelligently. Together, these frameworks offer CMOs and growth leaders a practical guide to transitioning away from rule-based automation toward intelligent, learning systems that scale impact.
Importantly, consumer expectations are also evolving. The report notes that speed has become a non-negotiable with one-tap convenience and seamless experiences now the baseline. Rewards are expected to be gamified and engaging. Video content, especially snackable formats, continues to outperform other formats in capturing attention. Meanwhile, AI is being welcomed not just as a backend optimiser but as a trusted assistant curating experiences, surfacing relevance, and removing friction. Even sustainability, once relegated to brand messaging, is now expected to be embedded across the product and experience lifecycle.
In that context, Agentic AI is more than a tool; it’s a paradigm shift in how brands scale intelligence, precision, and speed across the entire marketing funnel.
“Agentic AI is not just automation, it’s adaptive intelligence. Agentic AI bridges the gap between customer expectation and brand execution by bringing intelligence, agility, and precision to every touchpoint,” said Kalpit Jain, Group CEO, Netcore Cloud. “This report offers marketers a clear lens into what’s working, and why. It turns global campaign data into a blueprint for smarter decisions, empowering teams to confidently embrace AI-led strategy and execution.”
Nishant Arora, SVP – Marketing, Netcore Cloud, added, “The era of ‘guesswork marketing’ is over. Marketers no longer need more dashboards — they need decisive, intelligent action. Netcore’s Agentic AI doesn’t just interpret signals, it turns them into autonomous actions across the customer journey. This report distils how leading brands operationalise AI, offering marketers a proven path to scale with precision.”
