Channel Factory's Sakshi Jain Passes Away

Sakshi Jain, AVP for Revenue at Channel Factory, has passed away, leading to an outpouring of condolences from the marketing industry.

Jain’s distinguished career in media and advertising spanned more than 25 years, during which she excelled in a wide range of roles, including media planner, media manager, sales head, and business consultant, among others.

Her most recent role was at Channel Factory. Before that, she served as Business Head at Y&A Transformation between June 2023 and March 2024. Earlier, she was associated with Seeders Media LLP as Business Consultant from September 2022 to April 2023.

Before that, she worked as Business Consultant at Horses production. Prior to that, she served as General Manager (National Sales Head) at TV Today Network from February 2019 to September 2022. Before that, she was associated with TV 18 Broadcast from December 2014 to February 2019.

In the past, she was also associated with Reliance Broadcast Network, Future Media India, ABP Entertainment, TV Today Network, SET India, MPG, Alliance Advertising and Marketing and Siti Cable Network.

Expressing his condolences on her passing, Yesudas S Pillai, Co-founder, Y&A Transformation, Snippet Digital and triggerbridge, said, “I am deeply saddened and shocked to learn of the untimely death of Sakshi, a former colleague who left a lasting impression on everyone she worked with. I had the privilege of hiring her for Channel Factory under my company Y&A Transformation. I did that without any prior reference checks or previous work experience, trusting instead in an intuitive sense of her potential. And she quickly proved that this was the right decision. She was subsequently moved to the principal organisation, a company I continue to consult for. Sakshi brought a youthful, vibrant energy to the team. She was bubbly, vivacious, and professionally productive, consistently demonstrating a passion for her work that was truly inspiring. She played a key role in taking new initiatives to the market and was instrumental in acquiring new business, showcasing her ability to make a tangible impact from the outset.”

“Beyond her professional contributions, Sakshi had a deep love for the arts, particularly theatre, which added a creative spark to everything she did. Despite her warm and personable nature, she, as I understand, was a private person who valued close, meaningful connections with a tight circle of friends. She had a unique ability to connect with others, always maintaining harmony and never engaging in conflict. Her positive attitude and kindness made her a joy to work with and a valued member of the team. Though our paths have since diverged, the impact Sakshi had on both organizations and those who worked with her remains. Her legacy is one of positivity, warmth, and the great human being she was. Rest in peace, Sakshi You will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing you,” he added.

Ramsai Panchapakesan, Managing Partner – Investments and Trading, Havas, said, “I just can’t believe that she (Sakshi) is no more…One of my best friend and colleague at Aaj Tak and she always challenged the problems with her knowledge and skills and never gave up in any of her even in toughest moments…Rest in peace Sakshi Jain. Om Shanti.”

Piyush Jaiswal, Director at Bijan Ads and Films said that losing a friend like Jain has left him in deep shock. She was an intelligent and a wonderful person.
