Named as one of the 2021 Apps of the year in the trending category for promoting connection, Bumble’s matchmaking algorithm as also been rebuilt from the scratch, using the latest in machine learning technologies facilitating better matches. With enhanced privacy and security, the app has also introduced a new system, that recommends which photo to lead with in your profile. This has led to an increase in matches for people on the app.
This introduction of the Bumble Date profile redesign, has more and more users spending more time on profiles on the app. This shows a person’s resolve to learn more about a likely match before moving on to another.
Due to the COVID-19 induced pandemic and lockdown, dating trends have witnessed stark differences. Users are now dating with heavy focus on compatibility and connection before preferring offline dates. Hence the new dating experience is concentrated on making profiles more engaging and authentic.
