Saturday was a huge day for cricket fans as the most popular rivalry, India vs. Pakistan, played against each other at the stadium. From the record-breaking viewership on Disney Hotstar to brands going viral for their ads, the day saw many different events.

World Cup India vs. Pak

India won the toss and surprisingly decided to bowl first. The decision turned out to be a good one after Indian bowlers managed to control the Pakistan batting unit at a score of 191. However, Pakistan’s openers gave a good start, followed by Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan’s stable innings. Things changed after Babar’s wicket, and Pak’s batting order collapsed after that.

India’s batsmen started aggressively and took the match away from Pakistan. This is India’s eighth win against Pak in the World Cup. For those who don’t know, India has never been beaten by Pakistan in a World Cup, making the record 8-0.

Even before the start of the match, brands were active with their creatives and throughout the game, they kept engaging with social media audience through relatable content.

Here’s how brands celebrated India’s win in the World Cup against Pak
