Brands Celebrated April Fools’ Day With Tricky Campaigns

Brands know the value of important days like April Fools’ day that help them to connect with their audience more openly. As 1st April is seen as the fun day and pranks are taken lightly by users, brands never fail to surprise with their creativity. This year was no different as many popular brands made the best use of social media and April Fools’ day to engage the audience. Some of these ads are very creative but are giving a confusing message to audience while others are changing trends of April Fools’ day marketing. Have a look at some the best April Fools’ day campaigns by brands:

1. Mi

Mi tried to fool its customers by showing the launch of a smartphone with 6 cameras.

2. Netflix India

Netlix India went crazy for the April Fools’s day campaign and produced an unique video which shows how creative their team is.

3. Manforce Condoms

Manforce kept it very simple yet it was able to make the impact it wanted to create on audience.

4. Reliance Jio

This was something very special from Reliance Jio. A commercial has been made by Jio to make Indians believe that they have launched a technology called Jio Juice with which smartphones can be changed using special sim cards.

5. Uber Eats

Uber Eats also went very funny and made a commercial to show that world’s first anti-aging ice-cream has been introduced by them.

6. Ola

Ola was not behind in tricking their audience. Ola made a video showing that the cab company is now trying its luck in journalism and drivers will give them information about latest happenings.

7. Kingfisher Packaged Drinking Water

Kingfisher used a unique campaign for promoting their packaged mineral water brand . The company showed in the video that how a fitband made by them can tell uers that how much beer is actually enough.

8. MTV India

MTV showed a guy confessing to his father that he is a gay and the campaign went interesting when the father confessed the same to the son and created a funny scene.

9. Hyundai

Hyundai featured a secret ground that the car maker has been using for testing its vehicles and it has many unique tests before a car gets the checked sign.

10. Urban Ladder

To make April Fools’ day ad look extremely real, Urban Ladder went on to make a urban ladder which is a chair that has many facilities such as thermal mug holder and Bluetooth speakers.
