Brand Wars: Aisle Takes A Advertising Dig At Tinder

| Published on January 12, 2020

Finding a partner through online dating apps have become the new reality of modern India. Statistics are also telling the same. Online dating applications have tripled their user base in the country over 2018.

With dating apps market to be valued at $100 million in the upcoming few years, more and more players are emerging in online dating apps industry resulting in an increase in the competition. And Aisle, a leading online dating platform, has decided to cut the competition with witty digs at its one of the strongest rivals ‘Tinder.’

About three weeks ago, Aisle took to Social Media to tell users the difference between swiping apps and dating apps.

Aisle posted,

“ The truth is that dating apps get millions of people from around the world to fall in love. But there’s a difference between dating apps and swiping apps. Swiping apps are designed to get singles to stay single and ‘keep playing’. They are like the slot machines in Vegas. A never-ending swiping-game without any real intent or intimacy. That’s the sad truth of such apps. Get off swiping apps and get a friend to break the cycle too!”

With this post, Aisle tried to troll the *inder’s swiping feature where a user keeps swiping without knowing a thing about the other person.

Nearly one month ago before this post, Aisle also posted a video on its Facebook Page which tells what young girls think about swiping apps and dating apps.
