The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has secured a Rs 270 crore sponsorship deal with Google’s AI platform Gemini ahead of the 2026 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
The development has come amid growing interest from artificial intelligence platforms in cricket sponsorships, as per media reports, with Gemini’s rival ChatGPT already associated as one of the sponsors of the ongoing Women’s Premier League.
The agreement has been signed for a period of three years and has further underlined the IPL’s strong commercial value and global reach.
