Avnish Anand has stepped down from the position of Co-founder, Managing Director and CEO of CaratLane-Tanishq Partnership.
He took to LinkedIn and wrote, “I have an important life update to share. After more than 13 years (across two stints), my life as a CaratLaner has come to an end. 🥹🥹 This brings to an end what has been the most beautiful phase of my life, in so many different ways. I know it sounds highly cliched but I finally discovered myself here – what I was good at and what I enjoyed doing the most. As a result, I was in a constant state of flow during my time here and this experience gave me everything that I could have asked for in life. Although I am a very optimistic person, I don’t think I will ever experience life the way I experienced it in CL.”
In his first tenure with the Company, Anand served as the founding team member at CaratLane between August 2007 and January 2011. He again joined the Company in June 2015 as Head of Product, Digital Marketing, Customer Experience, Growth, Online Sales and International Business, a role he served until April 2021. Later, he was elevated to Co-founder and COO in April 2021. In August 2023, he was given additional roles of MD and CEO.
From March 2022 to March 2024, he was associated with CFI as a Leadership Coach. Prior to that, he served as the Co-founder and CPO at MyRefers between March 2022 and March 2024.
Before this, he was associated with Times Business Solutions as Head of New Business Verticals (TechGig, JobBuzz and StepAhead) from January 2011 to August 2014.
Between March 2006 and October 2010, Anand served as Sports Blogger at ACommonFan. Prior to this, he worked with DuPont India as Business Manager between June 2005 and July 2007. In the past, he was also associated with Standard Chartered Bank and Mirc Electronics (ONIDA).
