Aruna Shankaranarayanan has moved on from Intel Corporation as Media and Marketing Innovation Lead. She took to LinkedIn to announce her departure from the company.
Shankaranarayanan has around nine years of experience in the industry across both B2C and B2B sectors, with a strong focus on product marketing, brand strategy, and digital innovation. Over the years, she has built a career rooted in creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of consumer and market dynamics.
She joined Intel in December 2020 as a Digital Marketing Strategist. In this role, which she held until May 2023, she was instrumental in crafting and executing digital strategies that enhanced Intel’s online visibility and engagement. She then transitioned to a regional leadership position as the Brand, Creative & Social Lead for Asia Pacific and Japan. From June 2023 to February 2025, Shankarnarayanan led cross-functional marketing initiatives, shaping the brand narrative across diverse markets and aligning creative efforts with Intel’s strategic goals in the region. From December 2024 until her departure in April 2025, she focused on driving innovation within Intel’s marketing efforts, embracing emerging technologies and exploring new media channels to elevate brand impact.
Prior to her time at Intel, Shankarnarayanan held impactful roles at OnePlus, a leading global smartphone brand. She joined the company in March 2018 as a Marketing Specialist, where she contributed to campaign planning and product launch strategies that resonated with tech-savvy consumers. In November 2019, she was promoted to Lead – Category Marketing, Smartphone, a role she held until November 2020. During this period, she led marketing initiatives for the smartphone category, helping to shape OnePlus’s positioning and deepen consumer engagement during a time of intense competition and growth in the mobile industry.
Before entering the tech space, Aruna worked at The Glitch, a creative agency, where she developed her foundational expertise in brand communication and client management. She began her journey there as an Associate Manager in August 2016 and was promoted to Account Manager in March 2017. Over the course of her time with the agency, until January 2018, she managed key accounts and collaborated with creative teams to deliver integrated marketing solutions across digital platforms.
