How many of you are on twitter and surf it on a daily basis? If you are then you must be following a lot of popular celebrities, politicians and business tycoons. When it comes to business tycoons and Twitter, Anand Mahindra has a separate fan base following.
The Mahindra Group Chairman, Anand Mahindra is a fan of life hacks, and his tweets always prove that. Last time, Anand had shared a hilarious video which was leaked and made viral and people legit loved it. This time too Anand has been able to impress his followers but this time with a strong message.
What was the tweet?
64-year-old business tycoon, Anand Mahindra took to Twitter to share a story of Jharkhand-based Mahesh Karmali, who built a low-cost tractor out of a scooter that helps him plough-kattah (approximately 4,000 square metres) of farmland.
Not only that, but Anand also suggested a systematic way of helping such innovators. He said that he would like to be a part of an initiative that provides technical support and seed finance to people who make a living out of budget-friendly innovations.
This country is filled with people like Mahesh who possess the DNA of innovation. Should we set up a more systematic way of helping such innovators? A Mahindra ‘Garage,’ both physical & virtual, which provides technical support & seed finance? https://t.co/7rVKoGz6MW

The story behind the innovation!
Necessity is the mother of invention. This is what Mahesh Karmali believe and because of this necessity, Karmali was able to innovate this. The 33-year-old innovator said that he had dropped out of elementary school to help his family with the farm.
Karmali, a former mechanic with seven years of experience, designed the “Power Tiller” in three days from an Old Bajaj Chetak scooter. He bought the scrap from a friend for ₹4,251 and spent ₹12,000 to build the mini tractor. The fuel-efficient machine can plough 8,640 sq ft of land in 2.5 litres of petrol.
Such a great innovator and a person of inspiration for all. If you have a dream and you are ready to work hard for it with determination and hard work, you will surely achieve it. Mahesh Karmali is certainly learning for all of us.
