If we talk about top selling or most popular noodle companies in India, brands Maggi and Top Ramen come to our mind. There is no doubt that these 2 contribute most of the sales of noodles in India.

It is true that Indian instant noodles market is dominated by Maggi, but brands such as Yipee, Ching’s and Patanjali are also making their ways. Everything was looking positive for companies in this segment before the famous Maggi ban was introduced.

According to the market estimates, the noodles sales was over Rs 900 crores in June 2015 quarter and after the Maggi ban, several other brands were also stopped from making selling noodles in India resulting to the total sale of Rs 190 crores in the next quarter.

After the comeback of Maggi, things are getting better and the sales of instant noodles are increasing. below we have made a list of top 10 most selling noodle companies in India for the year 2018.

Maggi is the best noodle brand in India as it is loved by people of age groups. Plus, Maggi is favourite for the youngsters living in hostels who don’t get tasty food. The ease with which Maggi can be made is amazing. It can turn anyone into a cook and adding own masalas is the best part while cooking Maggi.

Yippee! has been there in Indian noodle market from years but it got the attention and love of consumers when Maggi was banned. During that period people tried alternatives for Maggi and brands like Yippee! made their place in the hearts of noodle lovers. Yippee! noodles are available in different tastes including Magic Masala, Classic Masala, Tricolor Pasta Chinese Masala.

3. Ching’s Secret instant noodles

Ching’s secret noodles have a unique taste which is very spicy and loved by Indian fast-food eaters. Using celebrities like Ranveer Singh helped the brand to grow as he is followed by a large segment of youth in the country. Like its other products, Patanjali claims that their noodles are healthy and can be consumed by people without any fear of the harmful effects of eating noodles. Launching atta noodles in a lighter taste does make sense in a market where other companies are focusing on spicy taste.

Nissin Scoopies also provide a different taste as compared to normal noodles. Scoopies are short noodles that are different in its size and shape. Nissin sells scoopies in flavours including mad masala, chicken masala and curry types. These can be served with Indian gravies to enjoy a completely unique noodle meal.

A noodle brand that has been serving Indians from long. Top Ramen’s curry flavour is very famous in India and it is manufactured & marketed by Nissin which is the same company behind Scoopies. Top Ramen noodles are available to buy in masala, curry, beef, chicken, shrimp flavours and also in other varieties such as ramen bowl, cup noodles, and soupy cup noodles.
