In today’s day and age, finding fame has become the easiest task ever. All you need is a little confidence to face the camera and become a social media influencer. With the right amount of reach, you can become a social media star and make your way towards a successful entrepreneurial career.
There have been many people who have become an online celebrity almost overnight. However, there have been many who have been able to promote their already established business through the platform.
One name that is making the headlines recently is that of a 10-year-old elementary school student from Australia, Pixie Curtis.
Pixie Curtis founded a toy company Pixie’s Fidgets with the help of her mother in March last year. In a very short span of time, she is making huge profits already.
The company’s first toys sold out within 48 hours of being launched, helping the firm earn more than six figures in its first month of operations, reported First Post.
The young Australian entrepreneur also has another business called Pixie’s Bows which is a hair accessories company that her mother, Roxy Jacenko, set up when she was a little baby.
Roxy Jacenko is proud of her daughter for accomplishing that much at a very tender age. She said that Pixie Curtis can retire at the age of 15 if she wants.
Jacenko said in an interview to news.com.au., “Our family joke has been I’ll be working till I’m 100 and Pixie will have retired at 15 – I certainly know who’s smarter. ”
Curtis’s journey as an entrepreneur has led to her becoming popular on social media platforms. She has over 1,00,000 followers on Instagram and often uses the platform to promote her company’s products.
She further added that she does not want Pixie to feel forced to work for the company despite her success, and asserted that Pixie’s happiness is what matters the most.
