Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India is a Joint Industry Company founded by stakeholder bodies that represent Broadcasters, Advertisers, and Advertising and Media Agencies.
With a panel size of 180,000 individuals, BARC India is also the largest measurement company of its kind in the world.
The council has released its data for top advertisers and brands for the period between 27 March and 2 April 2021.

Reckitt Benckiser India Ltd. manufactures and distributes household domestic goods. The Company produces household, pharmaceutical, and food products amongst many others. The brand has maintained its first position this week as well with 235624 weekly insertions.
Hindustan Lever Ltd stood in second place with 229489 weekly insertions while Brook Bond Lipton India Ltd with 38947 weekly insertions was in third place this week.
ITC Ltd and Lakme Lever Ltd made in the top 5 with 32163 and 31005 weekly insertions. Colgate Palmolive India Ltd, Pepsi Co, Cadburys India Ltd, Godrej Consumer Products Ltd, and Ponds India ranked sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth respectively.

Lizol was the top scorer this week with 29931 weekly insertions. Dettol Toilet Soaps, Moov Strong Diclofenac Gel, Dettol Intense Cool Soap, and Glow & Lovely Advanced Multivitamin had 23471, 15979, 14516, and 13816 insertions this week making them the top 5 brands.
Following the lead, Mortein Smart, Lalithaa Jewellery, Dettol Antiseptic Liquid, Clinic Plus Shampoo, and Harpic Bathroom Cleaner were placed on the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth position respectively.
