The beauty industry has seen a rise in celebrity-owned beauty brands in the past few years. While many brands did not make the desired impact, there are few that have been growing substantially in the market.

Recently, data by Tribe Dynamics shows that in the year 2020 Fenty Beauty and Kylie Cosmetics remained top players in the space, despite a slew of new launches.

As per the data, these are the top 10 celebrity beauty brands as ranked by EMV.

Fenty Beauty

Fenty Beauty is a cosmetics brand launched in September 2017 by Rihanna. The brand is popular for its broad inclusivity across skin tones and gender, especially it’s Pro Filt’R foundation.

Earnings: $555,195,705

Kylie Cosmetics

Kylie Cosmetics was founded by media personality, Kylie Jenner. The company began selling Kylie Lip Kits, a liquid lipstick and lip liner set on November 30, 2015.

Earnings: $187,859,638

Haus Laboratories

Haus Laboratories is a vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics brand launched on September 17, 2019, by American singer Lady Gaga.

Earnings: $141,764,661

KKW Beauty

In June 2017, the most famous Kardashian launched KKW Beauty, selling contour and highlight kits at a cool $48.

Earnings: $98,558,293

Rare Beauty

Selena Gomez teased the launch of her beauty line, Rare Beauty, to her 190 million Instagram followers back in February 2020.

Earnings: $60,024,579

Kylie Skin

Coty and Kylie Jenner announced that Christoph Honnefelder will take over as CEO of Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin.

Fenty Skin

Fenty Skin is designed to complement Fenty Beauty makeup and has been tested on all skin types and tones.

Florence by Mills

Created by Millie Bobby Brown, Florence by mills is the beauty brand that’s been made with love.

Earnings: $16,143,718

Honest Beauty

Actress turned entrepreneur Jessica Alba co-founded the nontoxic-household-goods startup The Honest Company in 2011. The business began largely as an e-commerce subscription service for diapers and baby wipes but now sells over 100 products. Honest raised $100 million at a $1.7 billion valuation in 2015.
