He also said that as of now the app has over 45K downloads on Android and 5K on IOS. Aadil informed that the app is planning to cover the Jammu city by the first week of February and later plans to extend district Baramulla, Budgam, Ganderbal, and Pulwama as well.

Aadil also shared about how this business idea came to be. He said, “I was working for Grofers (an Indian online grocery delivery service) in Bangalore in 2015 after completing my MBA when I decided to start my own venture. I had received a handful of experience as I was handling the marketing side of the company there.”

Reportedly, the app offers two modes of delivery- express, and slot. The express option is for urgent deliveries and is delivered within 70 minutes while the slot option is for delivery during time slots as per the customer’s convenience.

We provide daily essentials like Grocery, household items, pet care, personal care, stationery, veggies, and others,” he said adding, “What makes us unique is that we also serve Harrisa (the minced mutton delicacy), eggs, and Kashmiri Rotis and all are in huge demands”.

His venture has also been a source of employment to the well-qualified youths in Kashmir. “Over thirty-five people, both boys and girls are working with me in the company yet. We have over ninety percent of staff from Kashmir,” he said adding that we are also planning to open Grocery branded retail stores across the city and other districts very soon.
