Tata Motors Takes A Dig At Maruti Suzuki’s NCAP Testing

Recently, the Global NCAP had several brands testing their cars with ratings. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso apparently did not fare well in front of the Tata Tiago, and the latter took a mean dig at Maruti with a post on social media with a broken coffee mug which had its beans spilling out. The caption definitely made a lot of people mad, but fans of Tata Motors had a good laugh!

Driving is #SeriouslyFun, only when you live it up with safety.

Sadly, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso failed the crash test with a zero rating. Adult safety was comprised which brought out this poor result. In comparison, the Tata Tiago got a 4-star rating for adult occupancy and child safety. Even though Tata Motors did not directly mention it, the broken teacup is a fine example of what happened to the Maruti brand. People appreciated the humour, and some also agreed that Tata does not need to prove anything thanks to their popularity in India.

Check out these reactions supporting Tata Motors.

Why can't I Superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr like this? This is called taking a perfect dig. Have booked one. Eagerly waiting for some #SeriouslyFun experience.

Tata sell on safety and value proposition, Maruti still sells on resale value

My next car is a tata for sure

For Tata Motors, their Altroz and Nexon have received a 5-star rating. The Tiago and Tigor received a 4-star rating. Additionally, the Altroz, Tigor and Tiago got an upgrade and now feature the ALFA architecture in the Indian market.

It is great to see so many fans of Tata. Do you know any variant of the Tata brand as well? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
