Twitter has time and again amazed us all with the threads of tweets shared by its users. People have become very vocal with their thoughts and experience online and it has been possible due to platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and many others. While for some these platforms have served as a blessing, yet some have experienced bullying and hatred as well.
So it is fair to say that it is not all good. But today we bring you an incident that helped a Zomato worker share her story when one of the user posted it online.
It so happened that when Sukriti Chakravarty, a Twitter & Zomato user, shared a post of a Zomato worker Uma, who has lived a life full of struggles yet has managed to deliver the best of her services. The tweet read,’Honoured & Proud to share a real-life hero! Ms Uma has been awarded a Diamond star for excellence, because she has no cancellations, no delayed deliveries. She travels 250 -300 Kms a day on her bike. Lost her husband 10yrs back but takes care of her son proudly all by herself!’

Sukriti’s Tweet was later shared by Zomato India with a heartfelt caption that read, There’s one more thing she won way before any award – our hearts. Uma, thank you for doing what you do every day. You make us super proud.”

The story soon went viral leaving people amazed by Uma’s story and Twitter exploded with words of love and gratitude for her.
