The Indian two-wheeler market has seen huge growth over the past few years. Today, we bring you a list of 5 most anticipated bike launches of the year 2020.
TVS Zeppelin
The TVS Zeppelin concept made its debut at the 2018 Auto Expo in India. The showcased cruiser motorcycle was the concept model but we expect the production to be 70-80 percent similar to the concept as TVS has proved it in their previous concept to a production model.
Zeppelin has a 220cc liquid-cooled motor, but supplementing this engine’s output is an Integrated Starter Generator, which can provide extra motive power to the engine. There is also a 1200W regenerative assist motor with a 48V Li-ion battery that can add to the class-leading performance.
The other hardware includes gold-painted upside-down front forks, all-LED lighting, a ‘bio-key’ speedometer, and online connectivity. There is also an integrated action camera on the motorcycle.
TVS Zeppelin would be launching in India around November 2020 with the estimated price of Rs 1.20 lakh.
Hero Xpulse 300
The Hero Xpulse 300 looks a fair bit like the Xpulse 200 but gets some styling changes for a sportier look. The Hero Xpulse 200 is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled 199.6 cc engine that comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
KTM 250 Adventure
Just like 390 Adventure, 250 Adventure will be sharing its engine with the streetfighter version, the Duke. The bike will get equipped with the 248.8 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine. The Duke 250 produces around 30 bhp max power and 24 Nm of peak torque
KTM 250 Adventure is going to launch in India with an estimated price of Rs. 2.50 lakh.
Royal Enfield Meteor
The Royal Enfield Meteor will be the first Enfield bike from the new J-Platform. It features an all-new frame and a new engine as well. Engine displacement is unknown but we expect the air-cooled and fuel-injected motor to produce more power and torque than the Thunderbird 350.
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is going to launch in India with an estimated price of Rs. 1.75 lakh.
Suzuki 250 Adventure
Suzuki V-Strom 250 could go on sale in India this year following its possible domestic debut at the 2020 Auto Expo. KTM India has just rolled out the 390 Adventure, priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh and it competes against BMW G310 GS and Kawasaki Versus X-300.
