Five Famous Brand Logos And Their Hidden Meaning

A logo is the face of the company and plays an important role in advertising. A well-designed logo helps companies create necessary brand awareness. That’s why companies spend a lot of time on designing logos, not like arbitrary putting some lines or letters. Each logo has meaning, some vision. Today, we will be looking at the hidden meaning of the five popular brand logos.

Apple

There are many stories related to the design of Apple’s logo. Some say it is a tribute to Alan Turing, the man who laid the foundations of the modern-day computers. Some say it represents knowledge. But actually, Steve Jobs liked Apples because of his work in orchard farms when he was a boy and named the company after apple as it sounds good, and designed the logo accordingly. The bite in the logo is just to distinguish the small apple from the cherry.

Adidas


Adidas logo is one of the most loved logos. Three strips in the logo represent mountains and challenges that need to be conquered. It is an inspiring logo.

Amazon


There is nothing special about this logo apart from that one smiley face arrow at the bottom of the letters. The arrow connects A to Z, which depicts Amazon offers everything.

Puma

Everyone loves the leaping Puma, which is also called a cougar (a panther that is active both day and night and can jump up to 20 feet high), in the puma logo. Obviously, the brand wants to depict that their products are best in the category of active lifestyle products.

LG

Source

LG’s logo is quite simple to understand. The brand wants to depict a happy relation with its customers. In the logo, L makes the nose and G shows the outline of the face with a dot resembling the eye.
