Vespa Announces It’s First Electric Scooter To Launch in 2018

Popular scooter manufacturing company Vespa is going to launch its first electric scooter in 2018 with a 62-mile range. The electric scooter looks like the other Vespa scooters in design but the difference lies in the source at which it runs on.

A power unit with the capacity of delivering 4 kW is installed which will give performance similar to a traditional 50cc scooter. There will be 2 models of this Elettrica scooter- the standard Electtrica and the range-extended one which will have double power than the normal one. It is expected to take 4hours of time to fully charge this electric scooter.

Buyers will be able to connect their smartphones to Vespa’s latest version of the multimedia platform by using Bluetooth. A digital TFT is also present on the scooter. The company didn’t disclose any pricing for this scooter and its production will get started in 2018 and will be distributed throughout the world.
