Wakefit.co- a new Indian Startup that deals with the production of mattresses, has recently shown interest in openings of some vacancies for interns. In this internship, all you have to do is sleep for 9 hours per day for a total of 100 days. Yes, you heard it right! Let’s find out more about it.

“We are looking to recruit the best sleepers in the country who are willing to go to any lengths to make sleep a priority in their lives. The Sleep Internship initiates aims to bring back the focus on sleep health by celebrating and applauding people who obsess about sleeping well,” said Chaitanya Ramalingegowda, director and co-founder of Wakefit.co

During this internship, one’s sleep will be inspected and monitored and the interns would be sleeping on their comfy mattresses. A sleep tracker will be provided that will track the sleep of a person before and after they use the mattresses. Also, a counseling session is being offered with it.
A person cannot use any laptop during work hours (sleep hours).

Stipend of 1 Lakh

After 100 days, the data of sleeping will be shared with Wakefit.co of 9 hours’ sleep of each day, the company will reward 1 Lakh Rupees.

This startup is also supporting the ‘Right to Work Naps’ and running campaigns on it. They are also planning to insert siesta rooms in their offices. In order to ensure employee wellness, they have collaborated with companies like Cloudnine and Rentomojo.

Wakefit, on conducting a survey, has mentioned that most of those who have had responded on it, have recommended a nap room which can help in enhancing productivity.
