How Work From Home Culture Of Companies Like RVCJ Media Is Helping Employees Grow

Today’s corporate culture is completely different from what it was around 10 years ago. More companies are now making the work culture employee-centric instead of being employer-centric. Indian employees are seeking new ways to make their work-life more interesting and stable. For that, the trend of working remotely is helping them. The best part about Work from home jobs is that it gives employees the freedom to get a perfect work-life balance.

Now, most of you would be wondering about the financial aspects and skill improvement while working from home. Well, it all depends upon the caliber of an employee. Taking the example of Pooja Sachdev who started as a writer for RVCJ’s website, she now works as a manager in Branded content. To achieve this, she works 17 hours a day and has also won the best employee award.

Talking about her journey with RVCJ, Pooja said “The freedom of working from home helped me in productivity as it saves a lot of travel time. Also, it helps me focus better on my projects to meet deadlines and avoid distractions of any other work that may come his way but is not as urgent.”

The Work From Home culture has picked up momentum after the Jio revolution, although many companies began this trend in India about 5-6 years ago. It’s difficult to put a number on how many hours people work from home because it depends upon the individual.

“Working from home is much healthier, happier and in fact more productive,” Hardik Kanteliya, Senior Social Media Specialist at RVCJ Media believes. “What’s more important is to make the complete use of technology and get the work done according to plans,” he added.

Main benefits of Work From Home Culture

“Employees tend to feel more relaxed and happy due to flexible working hours and it clearly shows up in their work performance. Right from productivity to efficiency, work flexibility helps in achieving bigger targets in everything. With less stress, even the creativity levels are high and it all leads to improved teamwork and overall job satisfaction for everyone,” Piyush Dwivedi, Brand Creatives Designer, RVCJ Digital Media Pvt. Ltd. said.

“I have worked from Office for about 2 years before choosing to work from home. There is a myth in the industry that employees do not work when they are at home. This is wrong because I chose to work from home 5 years ago and I spend more time on work while at home than working in the office. As an Artist, I can say that my Home is a place where I am the Happiest which altogether helps me show more interest in work and increase productivity in less time,” he added.

“Moreover, while you are available for work, you are available for your family too. So it keeps your boss and family both happy at the same time. All you have to do is manage. So a win-win situation for Me, Family and my Employer too.” Piyush said.

“It’s been over 2 years months now, and I work every day, logging in at 9 a.m. just like an office-going employee. The best part is that I choose the work hours according to myself which helps me to enjoy with friends and family. I coordinate with my team online, or over the phone. I couldn’t have asked for a better work-life balance,” Shubham Sachdeva, who started as a freelance writer and now heads the content team of RVCJ, said.

Balancing your professional and personal time while working remotely can make all the difference to the quality of your sleep and the quality of your productivity. Poor sleep may lead towards poorer work, so focus on a good night’s sleep to ensure that you’re showing up to work happy, healthy, and energised, ready to face the – remote – day! For that you need a good quality mattress that can provide you better sleep. In India you can find many premium quality mattress online from where you can purchase them easily and get them delivered at your doorstep.

The trend for work flexibility has taken over many industries. From health care to communications to Tech, every industry has roles that can be executed from the comfort of your own home. Employees aren’t the only ones who benefit benefitting from working from home; companies can save money because there is not much requirement of infrastructure to maintain remote workers.
