India‘s biggest automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, has decided to recall more than 40,000 WagonR‘s. Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced today to voluntarily undertake a recall campaign for certain WagonR models with a 1-liter engine.
The targeted vehicles are the ones which were manufactured between 15th November 2018 and 12th August 2019. The reason for the recall, as stated by the company officials, is a possible issue with the fuel hose fouling with metal clamp.

The Chassis number is mentioned on the registration document and begins with MA3 followed by 14 digits alpha-numeric number.
The new-gen Wagon R was launched in India at the beginning of 2019.
