What do you do to expand your business? Is your company upgraded to the latest trends of the market? In today’s cut-throat competition, these questions need to be answered sufficiently or else your company isn’t on the path to success.

WhatsApp in today’s life has already become our primary mode of communication to the extent that even the local vendors communicate via this. As on, January 2015, half a billion people around the world were regular, active WhatsApp users, making it arguably the world’s fastest-growing communication app.

So now the interesting part is how to use WhatsApp a medium to grow our business? Here are 5 creative ways for that:

1. Internal Team Communication

Implementing a new tool, faces a lot of reluctance from the staffs in learning something new every time. WhatsApp is that tool which does not require any training and everyone knows how to use it.

Groups of different departments of the companies can be made on WhatsApp in order to facilitate better discussion about their work and the team can coordinate well enough.

2. Customer Communication

It’s very obvious on most of us prefer responding to personal messages rather than taking up phone calls from unknown numbers. Hence, if you do your followups on WhatsApp instead of direct phone calls, you will get 40% more response.

You can use it as a medium to announce new offers or send festival wishes to your customers, thus, creating a good bond between you and your customer.

3. Customer Support

At all times, customers would always prefer to send you a message over WhatsApp rather than calling a helpdesk number or raising a ticket. Due to its wider reach, it makes the platform very easy for customers to contact the company for help.

But, choose WhatsApp as a customer support tool only if you have a lesser number of customer requests because, for companies that get hundreds of customer calls every day, it becomes useless.

4. For Marketing & Promotion

WhatsApp allows a variety type of files to be sent on a single platform and this can be used for our advantage. Images, audio files, short video clips of your products and text messages to users across the world.

Use to it connect with existing loyal customers rather than trying to reach new users. Always remember, people hate messages coming from unknown numbers.

5. Creative Usage

New businesses are being built using WhatsApp as a platform and also some use it expand their business in a cost-effective manner.

Concierge Service:
You can use it as a booking platform to book a cake, flower delivery or courier service.

Food Ordering:
Using a WhatsApp message, you can order food now and customers can communicate their preference instantly.

Medical Consultation:
For petty health issues or common medical queries, WhatsApp is a great way to save time and money by just asking your query to your doctor on texts.

Government Services:
It can be used as a medium of dedicated helpline platform where complaints, queries and suggestions can be communicated regarding governmental services.

Well, at present it wouldn’t be wrong if we say, there’s the world operates on Whatsapp and off late also proved to be a great source of income for many!
