American model Blac Chyna is facing backlash on social media after she announced her plans to promote her skin-lightening cream with beauty brand ‘Whitenicious’ in Lagos, Nigeria.
The reality star having 14.8million followers on Instagram announced about the official launch of Diamond Illuminating & Lightening cream from the company.
‘Lagos Nigeria, join me at the first official launch of my face cream this Sunday, November 25th at the Whitenicious store from 1-5PM,’ she wrote. ‘Everyone is invited.’

The product is soo fancy that it even has Swarovski crystals on the bottle. Yes! Actual crystals.
According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), Nigeria has the highest percentage of women using skin-lightening products at 77 percent. While the cream claims to lighten and brighten skin without bleaching, critics of the product don’t agree.
Here are some responses that prove the same:
Sad thing, people will buy it
Blac Chyna selling bleaching cream in Africa??? The world really is backwards, sad thing is people will actually buy it.

Talking about Chyna life she has a complicated history with the Kardashian family and shares a daughter, Dream, with Rob. She was a one-time friend of Kim Kardashian, however, the relationship cooled once Kim’s then-teenage sister Kylie began dating Chyna’s ex Tyga.
