The Celebrity Brand Endorsements That Went Horribly Wrong

Well, you love to prefer certain brands because of the celebrity that endorses it. Be it a pair of clothes or some soft drinks! People love to follow celebrities, the reason why brands make no stones unturned to rob in these popular faces at high cost!

A connection between celebrities and brands may sometimes go wrong and wierd. Let us look at some examples where the celebrity endorsements that went wrong and not only that but completely hilarious.

1. Abhishek And Aishwarya, Prestige Cookware

Completely absurd in my language to bring this two and then add a tagline ,”Jo biwi se kare pyaar, woh Prestige se kaise kare inkaar!”. That’s much hilarious!

2. Saif Ali Khan, Pan Bahar

How about Saif Ali Khan, the Nawab of Bollywood giving up his success credits to Pan Bahar. That’s not his only ‘Pehchaan’!

3. Salman Khan, Wheel Detergent

Now this surely made you laugh if you have seen this! How about the superstar ‘Bhai’ of Bollywood endorsing a detergent brand and looks all flowery? Funny, right? Well if bhaijan didn’t have a problem we have no complaints!

Definitely no one wants to see this diva posing for Odonil. Not a good business at all!

5. Shah Rukh Khan, Lux

Lux is known for fetching beauties of Bollywood year after year. The only male making an entry in a Lux ad is none other than the superstar of the B town. Looking at SRK surrounded by all beauties seems a bit awkward!

No way! Katrina Kaif endorsing for hawaai chappals is too weird. But then again advertising is all about going for extra and surprising people.

8. Shah Rukh Khan, Fair And Handsome

Why do SRK need to get more fair and handsome? Isn’t he enough to handle?
“Apparently, according to research a lot of men do use fairness cream. I don’t think it’s wrong. I wouldn’t do it if it was wrong. It’s one of the highest selling creams. It’s not harmful and in no way am I selling that fair is better than dusky or dusky is better than fair. I am not that kind of person.” he said in media.

Remember the iconic song and its lyrics from the movie Dabbang and how Malaika shook her booty in that song in the line ‘Zandu Balm hui tere liye’. Well but we must say it had nothing to do with her personality and aura to endorse the brand!
