Agrizy has elevated its Chief Technology Officer, Markish Arun, to the role of Co-Founder, formalising his contribution to the company’s leadership and technology roadmap. In his expanded role, he has been leading the company’s end-to-end technology and AI strategy, including scaling its intelligence platforms, building decision-support systems, and strengthening supply chain traceability and quality assurance infrastructure.
The elevation has formalised a role that Markish has been performing since the company’s early stages. He has been instrumental in building Agrizy’s technology and AI stack, including the development of its product roadmap since early 2022 and the Agrizy-AI intelligence platform, which has been central to its new product development engine. He has also led the creation of an AI-driven credit engine that has reduced internal evaluation time and has overseen technology-enabled quality assurance pilots across partner facilities.
With over two decades of experience, Markish has previously co-founded MagicRooms, which was later acquired by Yatra. He has also served as Vice President Engineering at Goibibo and as Chief Technology Officer at Zoomcar. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at SAP Labs.
Agrizy has stated that the move aligns with its focus on building proprietary, technology-led infrastructure for the food and wellness supply chain ecosystem, aimed at improving efficiency, predictability, and product development timelines.
“Markish has been with Agrizy since inception, and what he has built here is nothing short of co-foundational. From architecting our AI-led platform to leading high-ownership engineering teams, he has consistently translated complex domain knowledge into scalable, defensible digital infrastructure. As we double down on applied intelligence in food and wellness supply chains, formalising this role ensures the speed, continuity, and technology leadership we need to build a truly enduring institution.” — Vicky Dodani, Co-Founder & CEO, Agrizy
“Agrizy is entering a phase where technology led infrastructure and proprietary intelligence will define long-term competitive advantage in food and wellness supply chains. The opportunity to build something genuinely foundational where product thinking, domain expertise, and applied AI converge is rare. I am focused on ensuring that the technology we build today becomes a compounding asset for Agrizy’s customers, partners, and the broader ecosystem for years to come” — Markish Arun, Co-Founder & CTO, Agrizy
