Infosys & ATP Roll Out AI Chatbot ‘Ally’, Extend Partnership To 2028

Infosys and the ATP have launched Ally, an AI-powered chatbot integrated with the ATP Stats Centre, and have extended their long-standing digital innovation partnership through 2028 to support fan engagement and sustainability initiatives.

Infosys & ATP Roll Out AI Chatbot ‘Ally’, Extend Partnership To 2028

Infosys and ATP have announced the launch of Ally, an AI-powered chatbot designed to enhance fan engagement and bring the tennis community closer to the sport. The two organisations have also announced an extension of their partnership through 2028, continuing their collaboration to strengthen the tennis ecosystem through digital solutions. Infosys has been ATP’s Digital Innovation Partner since 2015 and has contributed to the development of platforms such as ATP PlayerZone, the ATP Stats Centre and the ATP app.

Ally is powered by Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering that uses generative AI technologies. The chatbot provides real-time information to users, responding to queries related to match statistics, tournament draws, schedules and other tennis-related data. Users can access head-to-head comparisons, player statistics and historical records. Designed for fans, journalists, players and coaches, Ally delivers information through interactive conversations. The platform uses continuous learning to improve responses over time and is integrated with the ATP Stats Centre to ensure accuracy. Safeguards including content filtering, removal of personally identifiable information and contextual checks are in place to prevent misinformation.

Infosys and ATP also launched Version 2.0 of Carbon Tracker in 2025, a sustainability initiative that enables players to measure and reduce travel-related emissions. Since its introduction in 2023, more than 300 players have used the tool, collectively tracking 2.3 million kilometres of travel and offsetting 585 tonnes of carbon during 2025.

Chris Dix, ATP Chief Technology Officer, said: “Over the past decade, Infosys has played a key role in strengthening our sport through digital solutions. As AI and data become increasingly central to how we operate, we’re excited to use these capabilities to deliver more in-depth and innovative experiences for our players and fans. Ally marks the next step on this journey, using AI to reshape how fans can follow the game and making tennis more interactive and accessible for all.”

Ally represents a move towards more interactive participation, enabling fans to connect with the sport through intuitive conversations and easier access to information.”
